- 1. Study and document biodiversity, particularly crypto-biota and marine invertebrates and attendant environmental monitoring data in Verde Island Passage
- 2. Contribute to existing collection of holotypes and voucher specimens at the National Museum of the Philippines and make available such scientific information for conservation and management purposes
- 3. Enhance public awareness and appreciation of local Biodiversity through information dissemniation and communication
- 4. Capacity building of researchers/students in the Philippines and the United States for research on biodiversity of crypto-biota & marine invertebrates.
- 5. Recommend conservation and climate change solutions in the Philippines
- Latest Activity:
- Recovery of ARMS and Calcium Accretion Units (CAUs) deployed in Verde Island Passage in 2012 and Re-deployment of ARMS in three locations in VIP for long-term monitoring
- Capacity building of Filipino scienties and government
- Processing and analysis on collected samples, including report writing
