Scope of Cooperation:
Enhance Conservation efforts through intensive information campaigns and production and distribution of field guides and books on certain Philippine vertebrates.
1. Intensify conservation genetic studies of Philippine amphibians and reptiles
2. Provide a synthetic summary of the conservation status of all Philippine amphibians and reptiles
3. Promote sustainable resource use and conservation of Philippine wildlife
4. Provide recommendations to address threats to Phlippine wildlife
a. Field research on Herps ongoing in selectied sites with local collaborators
b. Production of manuscripts on synthesis of herpetofau
c. Discovery of Twenty-six (26) new species of endemic herps described in journals
